My New Book: Brain Berries

As a COVID project, I took on the objective of trying to understand if there was any scientifically supported benefit to the brain and body from eating berries and a variety of other foods.

I’ve been monitoring the research and journaling the connections between nutrition and health for over 30 years while working in the health informatics sector. I’ve actively tracked the science and evidence-based research on the molecular interactions between nutrients and our bodies and how they can impact our health and wellness. I’ve watched the parade of “next big things” in the health food and supplements marketplace, where fads and gimmicks have come and gone, bringing a variety of widely praised and often expensive products to market, many of which have been proven to be either unhelpful or even dangerous. Fortunately, I’ve uncovered encouraging news from several different research perspectives that link a variety of benefits for body and brain to common berries found in many parts of the world and I’ve condensed my findings into this book.
